The Electrochemistry Group with more than 80 years of experience in electrochemical storage systems is a leading research team dedicated to advancing electrochemical technologies for a sustainable future, collaborating with partners worldwide on developing cutting-edge solutions for energy storage and conversion. The electrochemistry group is composed of more than 30 researchers and has wide experience in participation and coordination of European projects. It is the partner and chair of Bepa, Etip Batteries Europe and WP leader in the Battery2030 initiative.

Role within DigiCell

POLITO’s main task in DigiCell is related to the realisation and characterisation of Gen5 cells based on a Lithium Sulfur and Potassium ion technology. In addition, RAMAN characterisation of Silicon electrodes is performed.
